Touring to Mt.Fuji 5th station.

Great ride with Yukiko’s Fun Ride Japan tour! Swooped around the base of Mt Fuji and enjoyed a great hot noodle lunch. Then it was up into and through the clouds as we ran up Mt Fuji to the big #5 station. Checked in at the Temple and got my fortune. After rain last night, the roads were dry and clear! Perfect riding temps today with mostly clouds and a peak at the Sun every once in awhile.
Fun Ride Japan guided us 2 weeks on a motorbike through mainland Japan (Honshu).
The organization of the 2.700 km tour was just perfect, we got deep insights into Japans culture, history and nature. It was a wonderful mix of landscape, sightseeing spots and selected hotels and restaurants. The rental bike was brandnew (51 km when we got it) and the stuff of the workshop was very polite. Our Guide, Yukiko, showed us how to pray at the temples and shrines and introduced us into the behavior at ryokan hotels and onsens. We have been treated like VIPs and felt ourselves always very welcome. We definitely got what was promised – Fun Ride Japan gave us a great time!

Autumn color touring to Tateshina in Nagano prefecture with 14members. We started from Tokyo and ride through the famous scenic road “Venus Line “. We enjoyed the beautiful season.

Fantastic weekend riding into the mountains to see the “snow walls”. Perfect timing…..still enough snow but warm enough to not need any cold weather riding gear! Yukiko knows how to set up a tour! Great route, great food, and a fantastic Hotel/Onsen to spend the night at!

We visited Jogashima island for fresh Maguro tuna lunch across the bridge. We can see the beautiful view of Mt.Fuji from there. It’s splendid! After riding along the coastline,we visited Kannon-zaki Point, in the southern part of the Miura Peninsula.From there we can see the cluster of high-rise buildings in the distance. We had a good time with nice view,food and talking.

Autumn touring to Izu Peninsula with 12members
On a warm and nice day for riding, we 12 members rode toward to Izu Peninsula. We enjoyed to ride along the nice coastline,we stopped at the small fisherman’s village for lunch. After lunch we entered to the mountain side.
The loop bridge is fun to try.
Bob : Great ride with Yukiko! An absolutely beautiful November day here in Japan, a great group of riders and we rode the famous Loop Bridge again! The fresh Lobster for lunch wasn’t bad either!
