It’s famous for The Tottori Sand Dunes(Japan’s largest dunes)
and breathtakingly beautiful Mt. Daisen.

I found a unique town’s mascot during touring.
A Japanese giant salamanders, a special natural treasure, live there.

Leave for Juniko(twelve) lake in the Shirakami Mountain Range.
It spreads 130,000 hectares over Aomori and Akita,
and the central part has been listed as a World Natural Heritage Site since 1993.
Take a walk around the untouched primeval beech forest with a volunteer guide
and reach Ao-ike Pond with mysterious cobalt blue water. 
It’s particularly beautiful!
Leave there and went ahead to Lake Towada.
It’s a nice riding through Jukai(the sea of trees)Line.
Lake Towada is spreading out below 
It’s the largest caldera lake on Honshu and
famous for its breathtaking clear water.
I also visited the Oirase Mountain Stream.
It runs through a virgin forest.
I enjoyed walking along the banks of the stream.
I stayed at B&B near Lake Towada and went back home.
There are rich nature in Oamori Prefecture and my favorite touring place.
From Wakinosawa fishing village to Kanita town by ferry
It was raining.
A ferry platform is stood alone in an corner of a village.
About an hour reach Kanita town. Ride ahead to Seikan Tunnel Memorial Hall.
Seikan Tunnel is the longest and the deepest
operational main-line rail tunnel in the world.
take a tram.
and explored the world of 240m under the ground.
On a way to Tappi Cape, a unique National Road.
It’s a narrow stair road but the true National Road.
That’s Japan!
finally reach at Tappi Cape.
It’s the promontory at the tip of the Tsugaru-hanto Peninsula,
and is well-known for its severe gales, where the average force of the wind is 10 meters per second.
From Tappi cape to Jusanko Lake ,the road across the mountain was narrow and a steep slope.
The beautiful Shimokita Peninsula.Ride along the Hamanasu Line (Route279)
and say goodby to route 279 then say hello to route 6,soon will arrive at Shriyasaki cape. It’s famous for a beautiful white light house

There are many Kandachime horses at the cape
These horses are known for having short legs and stout frames
and endure the severe winter of Shimokita peninsula.
It’s a symbol of strength.
But in summer time,they are like this.
so cute.
Get on Tohoku Expressway from Tokyo to Hirosaki city in Aomori.
It takes about 10 hours 700km.
Checke in a hotel and visit the Hirosaki Castle.
Here is a place with foliage and Oasis for the people.
So many beautiful lotus bloom in a pond.
Neputa Festival started from 7pm around the castle.
A huge Festival float is pulled around the town, occupying the full width of town roads
with the large drumbeat
The participant’s parade throughout the city towards the call of “Yah-Ya-Doh”,
pulling the parade floats of Samurai figures and Samurai paintings.
It’s so fantastic!
Hirosaki Neputa Festival will be held on Aug.1~7.
Go to Tsunoshima island.
It’s just off the northern Yamaguchi coast in the Sea of Japan.
It’s famous for the long Tsunoshima Bridge.
Ride from Hagi city to Shimonoseki city by Route 191.
This route is little traffic and a nice country road.
1 hour later, arrive at Tsunoshima Bridge.
It’s floating in the Sea of Japan!
Cross a 1,780-meters-length-bridge
ride around an island
a light house.
On the way back to Hagi city,
drop in for a short visit at Senzaki fishing village
This village is famous for a woman poet named Kaneko Misuzu
so calm & relaxed atomosphere is here.
Shimanami Kaido is a 60 kilometer long toll road passes across bridges and islands of the Seto Inland Sea.
It connects Honshu island to Shikoku island passing over six small islands in the calm Seto Inland Sea.

to Onomichi city
from Onomichi, pass Sanyo expressway ,Chugoku express way
and Ogori Hagi Express way
reach at Akiyoshidai Karst plateau.
Akiyoshidai is the Japanese premier scenic spot with white and gray limestone peeking out from the vivid green in a 130 square kilometer area.
Enjoy Riding around the smooth green carpet continues on forever!
Get off the Tokushima expressway at Mima IC
Continue to go to a Noodle Factory in the mountain.
No signboard displayed!
It’s difficult to find it.
After 30 minutes ride along the mountain road,
finally managed to reach the Mishima Seimenjo Noodle Factory.
No sign board!

There are only 2 menu.
Hot or cold.
If you would like to order hot noodles,say “Atsu”.
Take it with Soy sauce and chopped green onion.

with motorcycles. Ariake port is a gate way to Tokushima,Shikoku Island.
Leave from Tokyo at 18:00 and arrived at Shikoku island 13:20 next day.
After get on a ferry,
first thing to do is to take a bath.
It’s a good time to relax.
As soon as departing at Ariake Port,
passing under Godzilla bridge,
Night has fallen…
