It was a nice and warm day. I started from Kanda via Akihabara, Okachimachi,then arrived at Ueno.The cherry blossoms have started to bloom. Spring is just around the corner.







Misaki is known for its picturesque views and large tuna hauls.And the town is nice with a retro atmospheres.




The early blooming cherry blossoms are full bloom in Atami onsen town. Motorcycle touring season is at the corner.

Day 4 Aomori to Hachimantai
After enjoy Hokkaido, let’s move to the Tohoku region by ferry.



Today we ride from Aomori to Hachimantai area.First visit to Oirase area northern Aomori.


Tsutanuma Lake is surrounded by the deep primeval forest of the beech and they are dyed bright red and yellow in autumn. It’s the gorgeous world where it is reflected in the lake.



The Oirase Gorge is one of the most beautiful river valleys in Japan. Let’s get off your bike and enjoy walking along the river for a while. it’s nice to walk through a beautiful deciduous forest, known for its spectacular colors in autumn with fantastic shades of yellow and red leaves.






Day3 & 4 Hakodate to Aomori(Tohoku region)
Hakodate is Hokkaido’s third largest city located at the island’s southern tip.In Hakodate,at first let’s visit Tobetsu Trappist Monastery.It’s located about 18 km west of Hakodate. To the gate, there is a lovely avenue lined with trees.






The cookies and butter made by the monks are very popular souvenirs.From late April to late October, soft serve ice cream with the Trappist Cookie is sold and it is popular.Try them!


Then visit Goryokaku.It’s a star-shaped fort completed almost 150 years ago.It’s famous as the site of the last battle of the civil war for the Japanese Revolution. From the Goryokaku Tower Observatory, we can enjoy a panoramic view of the entire beautiful star-shaped estate and surrounding moat.





Day2 Biei to Lake Toya
After we visited the Blue Pond, we headed to the south part of Hokkaido.By the time we got there,we passed the Hill of Shujitsu.It’s a hidden popular scenic spot.we can see a straight road like roller coaster and grand Daisentsuzan mountains scenery and the long-distance view of Asahikawa city, Biei town.






We also passed the Showa Shinzan.It’s one of Japan’s youngest mountains.It suddenly rose from a flat wheat field accompanied by earthquakes.

Day 1 Biei in Hokkaido
We start in Biei area near Furano town. Furano and Biei are towns in the center of Hokkaido, known for their pleasant and picturesque rural landscapes.





The Shirogane Blue Pond is famous for its breathtaking blue waters.It can change from a milky light blue to a deep green-turquoise. It’s beautiful all year round ,but in autumn,red and yellow colored leaves and the blue color of the pond is splendid!






This ” Ubusuna-no-sato” is a Luxury inn in Nara prefecture.



“Ubusuna” means the land where the person was born.
This luxury inn is the birthplace of celebrated potter Kenkichi Tomimoto (1886 – 1963), who was honored as a Living National Treasure by the Japanese government in 1955.
In 2017, the house was renovated and opened as an inn.





There are just two spacious suites.
Each with views over the beautifully designed gardens and large baths enclosed by their own private gardens.





You can enjoy dishes using local ingredients and Japanese sake in a fine dining facility. Mr.Hazama is a chief chef and he uses many local food ingredients to offer the special dishes for his customers.












How about to sit and relax in the quiet inn.



From the inn, you can walk to Horyuji Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage site, with one of the world’s oldest wooden structures.
