Seto inland sea lies between Honshu, Shikoku and Kyushu. Its calm waters stretch over 400 kilometers from Osaka to Kitakyushu. There are nearly 3,000 islands in it and it is famous for mild climate and relaxed atmosphere.
part 1– Let’s visit to Shimanami kaido sea route!
Shimanami kaido is a 60 kilometer long toll road and passing over six small islands in the Seto Inland Sea.Along the way, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Seto Inland Sea and the islands’ small towns.
In Oshima island there is a superb view point “Kirosan Observatory.” You can see the typical Shimanami Kaido landscape(views of the ocean , islands and bridges)from there.
Next go to the divine island”Omishima island “. The Oyamadumi Shrine is dedicated to the gods and you may feel a sacred atmosphere.
Go around the seashore slowly and head to the Tobishima islands.
